Edward commenced commercial flying in 1995 doing tourist and mining work in the bush. After 9/11 and the collapse of Ansett he commenced flying with the newly reformed Skywest Airlines and then when that was taken over by Virgin he commenced with VARA (Virgin Australia Regional Airlines) where he works today on the Airbus A320 having amassed over 14000 flying hours.
Having had an interest in drone technology Edward formed Sensorum in 2013 and quickly became sought after for his quality work using drone based data collection using remote sensing and digitising corporate assets. Recently Edward sold 70% of Sensorum to the Aerodyne Group, which ranked first on a list of the top global remote-sensing drone service providers in 2021. Edward is the CEO of the Australian branch of Aerodyne with offices in Subiaco.
